TKO Fitouts has completed an “End of Trip” facility in Subiaco for LJ Hooker Commercial. The aim of this facility is to “encourage and support the use of alternative active travel modes, including cycling. Bicycle parking is secure, easily accessible and conveniently located for residents and visitors.” It is located at 388 Hay Street. TKO performed the design, fabrication and installation of the facility.
Features of this commercial fitout include:
- Women’s and Men’s changing rooms, toilets and showers:
- 30 lockers per side;
- Showers, taps and dispensers made from brushed nickel for durability;
- Ironing facilities;
- Hairdryers;
Floor tiles – grey and anthracite flooring designed for easing cleaning and to minimise slipping; and- Complementary charcoal and oak laminate finishes
- Bike storage area with:
Racking for 32 bikes – “Ned Kelly” bike racks; and- Rubber flooring – Everroll Core Rubber flooring for comfort when wearing bike shoes and to mitigate slipping.
